Equipment<\/b><\/p>

Our hotel has all the necessary fire extinguishing equipment, in accordance with the Europeans standards. On each floor there are:<\/p>

  • Smoke detectors in the corridors, the stairway and the communal areas, which automatically activate the hotel\u2019s general alarm system.<\/li>
  • Red alarm bells to activate the fire alarm system, when necessary.<\/li>
  • Regulation standard kits containing all necessary fire extinguishing devices.<\/li>
  • Portable fire extinguishers.<\/li>
  • Water hoses, located across from the elevators to be used only by qualified staff.<\/li>
  • Pinned behind the door of each room a plan indicating the fire exit from the main stairs.<\/li><\/ul>

    Preventive measures<\/b><\/p>

    • Upon arrival, please familiarize yourself with the location of the staircase and fire extinguishers.<\/li>
    • If you are hard of hearing or have any other disability which would affect your exit in the event of a fire, please inform the reception upon arrival.<\/li>
    • The use of appliances (such as kettles and electric irons) other than those provided by the hotel is forbidden.<\/li>
    • Do not attempt to repair any electrical malfunction in your room. Contact the reception.<\/li>
    • Should you discover that something from the equipment does not function properly, please contact the reception desk immediately.<\/li><\/ul>

      In case of fire<\/b><\/p>

      • Contact the reception desk immediately at 100 or 200.<\/li>
      • Sound the alarm immediately, by breaking the glass in one of the call-points on each floor.<\/li>

      • Please make sure you are familiar with the fire exit routes from your room. Do not jeopardize your safety by staying behind to collect your personal belongings.<\/li>

      • To get away from a smoke-filled area, cover your face with a wet towel.<\/li>
      • If the fire is small, use the nearest fire extinguisher.<\/li>
